I had a delightful stay at this cozy guesthouse located on a hill about 1km from the station. The attention to detail and service provided by the staff were excellent. We had a reasonable stay, the hotel offered us a happy ferry and had a great location just 10-15mins by walk from the station, with easy access to JR Otaru station. the rooms were clean and the bathrooms modern, as well as the breakfast provided. the view from the hotel was great and it had advantages like spacious shower facilities and a small kitchen.

One negative point was the occasional noise from the aircon, which disturbed our sleep at times.

Friendly environment and great view! the owners are very hospitable and are always willing to help you. They offer homemade breakfast which is really tasty and for a great price. the hostel has a cozy atmosphere all around, free tea and coffee, and a common area to hang out and relax. Lastly, the hostel is located in a remote and uphill area, but don't worry because the owners offer a ride in their car as long as you contact them beforehand.

the showers don't have a heater, so it can get cold, and it's inconvenient having to bring your own towel and slippers.

The staff were great, they were friendly and went out of their way to help us. The rooms were very clean and cozy. We loved the breakfast too, it was a great way to start the day. The location was great for us as it was close to all the attractions we wanted to visit.
